Botox
Botox is one of the most recognized cosmetic treatments worldwide. It works by temporarily relaxing the facial muscles that cause wrinkles, resulting in smoother, younger-looking skin.
Dysport
Dysport is an alternative to Botox that spreads a bit more, making it ideal for larger treatment areas. It works faster and may last longer in some patients.
Xeomin
Xeomin is a purified neuromodulator that differs from Botox and Dysport by containing no accessory proteins, which may lower the risk of resistance. Its smaller dilution radius allows for more precise application, making it easier to customize results to each client’s facial structure for a natural, refined look.

Questions?
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all FDA-approved neuromodulators used to temporarily relax facial muscles and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The main differences lie in their formulation. Botox contains accessory proteins that help stabilize the active ingredient. Dysport has smaller molecules, which may allow it to spread more easily, making it ideal for larger areas like the forehead. Xeomin is a 'naked' form of botulinum toxin, meaning it contains no accessory proteins, which may reduce the risk of developing resistance over time.
Results typically last 3-4 months for Botox / Xeomin and 3-5 months for Dysport. The duration can vary based on individual factors including metabolism, treatment area, dosage, and whether you're a first-time or returning patient. Consistent treatments over time can also help train the muscles to stay more relaxed, potentially extending the effects.
There is minimal to no downtime following Botox or Dysport treatments. You can resume most normal activities immediately after your appointment. However, we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol consumption, and lying down for 4 hours after treatment to prevent product migration.
Dysport results typically begin to appear within 2-3 days, while Botox results may take 3-7 days to become visible. Full results for both treatments are usually apparent after 14 days.
Most patients experience minimal discomfort during treatment. We use very fine needles, and the procedure is quick. Many patients describe the sensation as a slight pinch. For those concerned about discomfort, we can apply a topical numbing cream before treatment.
The number of units needed depends on the treatment area, your muscle strength, and your desired results. While each product works similarly, their unit measurements are not interchangeable: Botox & Xeomin typically use the same unit measurements. For example (Botox/Xeomin): Frown lines (glabella): ~20 units, Forehead lines: ~10–20 units, Crow’s feet: ~12–24 units (6–12 per side). Dysport: Frown lines (glabella): ~50–60 units, Forehead lines: ~30–50 units, Crow’s feet: ~30–60 units
